It's a great day to be a Bulldog! Today I introduced the new learning objective in Math and the students were able to show me that they were already able to independently LIST MANY EQUIVALENT NAMES FOR NUMBERS. We are also improving on yesterdays new objective of being able to IDENTIFY VARIOUS WAYS NUMBERS CAN BE USED. If you would like to have a conversation with your child about their school day, ask them to list as many of the following ways numbers can be used as they can:
- Counting
- Measuring
- Reference System
- Comparing
- Identification and Codes
To really challenge them, see if they can give you an example of each.
HOMEROOM: Permission slips should be turned in ASAP. I will be making a call to anyone with a missing slip tonight. Please try to have all money turned in by Friday. Next week will fly by! We will not have school on Monday due to Labor Day. We will have school as normal on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the Trip is on Thursday!! Wahoo! Be sure to check out our
