Homework has changed a bit for tonight. Students should complete the
Question/Answer Flow Worksheet. We did the first 5 together in class, they should be able to complete the last five on their own. They should sound like they are singing as they do they work. Ask them to show you how they complete one. When they are finished, ask them grammar based questions such as:
What is the subject noun in the sentence?
What is the complete predicate?
How many prepositional phrases are there?
How many adjectives are in the predicate?
If they can answer these questions and are familiar with the meanings of the Lesson 6-7 Word parts, they will do well on tomorrow's assessment.
